AP series
AP rotating pneumatic actuators use a pinion/rack kinematic mechanism to turn a rectilinear motion into a rotating motion.
They are particularly useful in the operation of ball and butterfly valves where rotation angle is equal to 90°, but they can be used on other equipment as well.
A wide range of accessories can be easily installed on them, such as: limit switches, solenoid valves, positioner, disengageable gear, lever, etc.
The AP series of pneumatic actuators is available both with simple and double effect with the same overall dimensions for the two versions.
To choose the proper actuator the torque of the equipment to be operated must be increased by 25% and the suitable model must be found in the tables specified below.
Feeding pressure:
from 2 bar (29 psi) to 8 bar
(116 psi) - double effect
from 5 bar (73 psi) to 8 bar
(116 psi) - simple effect
max. feeding pressure 10 bar (145 psi).
